It’s wonderful when colorful spring changes into hot summer, summer turns into a gulden fall and fall becomes white, crisp winter. Not only are the season changes pretty, they’re also meaningful reminding us that vacation is coming up, holiday season is around the corner and such. But just as much as we long for an air conditioned room in the middle of a scorcher, at some point looking out at the snow we wish spring was already here to melt it. Since seasons are the way they are and you can’t do anything to make them go away or start already, the only ting you can do is trick them a bit.

Summers are hot, so why bother going south to only find the temperature a few degrees higher, if you could go north instead and cool off for a few days fishing in Alaska or visiting beautiful Canadian cities? Imagine having to put on a sweater to sit by the fire in the evening, or riding a bicycle through Montreal without breaking a sweat. Our instinct is to spend summer vacation on the beach and winter one on the slopes, staying in the extreme heat or cold, instead of choosing milder climate which is more beneficial for our health and also lets us do more as we don’t get exhausted as fast.
