We always have problems with eating properly when we work during the week. On a busy day it is very hard for us to find at least half an hour to eat something decent in peace. But company owners and those who work in serious businesses being responsible for many different things find it even more difficult. Their working day lasts practically 24 hours and is full of meetings, deadlines, and running from one place to another. In the evenings they are not very surprised to realize they haven’t eaten anything.
It is easy to say ‘there was no time’ but that is no excuse. People have to eat, otherwise, just like a car without fuel, they will eventually stop. You can live a day or two without food or with only one meal in the evening but your body will surely let you know this is not the right thing to do. So if you want to continue your brilliant career and achieve even more success you better start treating yourself seriously and take care of your health starting from learning how to eat.
Is it really so hard to prepare yourself a slice of low carb bread in the morning and eat it before leaving the house? If you are really that busy you can even eat in the car if you make sure you don’t swallow it at once but bite properly. With such a base in your stomach even thinking goes better. You will see how much more efficient you are! You will even look better after a healthy breakfast so bear that in mind especially if your appearance plays an important role in what you do.
The truth is it doesn’t matter if you are a keynote speaker, lawyer or someone who doesn’t even meet any people at work, if you work eight or twelve hours per day. You just have to eat at least this one proper meal during your working day. Drinking is as important as eating but I am not talking about coffee that many people tend to drink instead of water. Developing good eating habits is the only way for us to stay as efficient at work as we want to be.
